About me
I’m Paul, a Certified Flight Instructor who began flying in 2020 and quickly developed a deep passion for aviation—especially tailwheel flying and the timeless skills it demands. From the very beginning, my goal has been simple: provide high‑quality, meaningful instruction that helps students become safe, confident, and capable pilots, not just log hours on the way to the next rating.
I’m a proud graduate of the University of Idaho (Go Vandals!) and a dedicated dad, both of which shape the way I approach teaching. Patience, clear communication, and genuine care for each student’s success are at the center of every lesson. I believe flight training should be structured, encouraging, and tailored to the individual—building strong fundamentals that prepare pilots for real‑world flying long after the checkride is over.
Training Philosophy
My instruction is built on three core principles:
Safety first, always. Every decision in the cockpit begins with sound judgment and risk management.
Quality over quantity. The focus is on true understanding and skill development—not simply accumulating flight time.
Confidence through preparation. Clear guidance, consistent standards, and realistic scenario‑based training help students feel ready for both the checkride and everyday flying.
Services
I offer personalized, student‑focused instruction tailored to pilots at different stages of their journey, including:
Primary flight training
Checkride preparation
Tailwheel training

Whether you’re just starting out or preparing for an important milestone, my goal is to provide professional, supportive instruction that helps you reach your aviation goals efficiently and safely.
